Our Farm
Guritz Produce is a 160 acre farm in the Northwest Iowa town of Spirit Lake. We raise five (5) acres of fresh, organically grown vegetables, fruits and herbs in addition to our corn and soybean rotation. At Guritz Produce Farm we strive to raise our produce and fruits in a natural, sustainable manner, by not using chemicals or synthetic fertilizers.
We have four high tunnel green houses to allow us to extend our growing season. They allow us to get an earlier start in the spring and extend our season in the fall. Plants in the high tunnels are planted directly into the soil. By using the high tunnels, we can control the plants growing environment, pests, and diseases.
Guritz Produce Farm also raises and sells chicken, turkey, and pheasant. We try to raise all of our meats as drug free and natural as we can.
